That's because most of those who make that comment, really mean British football. Then when they refer to British they use English. The other home nations do not count as foreign to them, as English rule over all. Sorry rant over.
Classic team by the way, used to enjoy seeing them play on MOTD.
That being said, except for the Danish chap - the others are either British or Commonwealth players (Zim and Australia - although Bruce Grobbelaar was actually South African, but claimed to be from Zim because of SA's 'bad rep' at the time. Funny how times have changed??? Nowadays players would rather claim to be from SA than from Zim....)
None of them were available to play for England though - which is a common complaint from the recent England managers....
