I've not bought it yet... I want some reactions before deciding whether or not to feed my children for a day to buy it....give me your score out of 5
and also how much you liked coldplay before this album, also out of 5... so i can gain an accurate picture... all comments welcome

Fantastic album....not perfect, but fantastic. A 4 out of 5 for sure.
A couple of genuinely amazing tracks on it....Lovers, Violet Hill and Strawberry Swing for example.
great album, great opening track with a middle eastern instrument i think, not so much stadium anthems which is also good, id also give it a 4/5.

I think it's great, tunes that don't cry out to be played in a stadium. Diverse instruments on show, interesting drums (kettle drums I believe) and great lyrics. i'm really enjoying it. Some might disagree but I can here Arcade Fire somewhere in there and by the end track i hear springsteen. weird eh? Track 1, 5, 7 ,10 are my favourite. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
